Damn guys. Those are some wicked wounds. I hope you heal up fast. Brought home the new bike tonight but I'm still a good 4 weeks from riding regular again.
Great looking bikes John!! Glad you are healing up. Do you ever ride at Jennings?

I was planning on going two weeks after the trip I crashed on. I've been out there a few times with friends and was dieing to get out there myself. Once I get it put back together, I'll be out there quite frequently. When I do, you need to come up one weekend.

Nice! I love the white body work and rims. Being you have said you have had a lot of close calls, I hope you don't mind me offering you a suggestion as to what definitely isn't helping. Those flushmounts you have on there are useless during the day. My wife had similar ones on her ZZR and pulled them off and put some billet stalks on there that look really nice. If you want to run flushmounts, get some protons. You can still see them on my 06. They are very bright and when set to strobe they are very visible.

thanks tang!
about the flushmounts i actually made some plastic spacers that fit in the fairing whole and brings the light out and now you can actually see that im signalling from the front but i know it still sucks during the day with those bulbs....
but most of the close call where from ppl making left turn infront of me and running red lights and not looking when they are changing lanes ....

heres a picture of my old 04

another picture of my 1000rr
all the decals are actually hand painted on, as well as all the pinstriping was handpainted even the ones on the rims
and best of all all the work was done by Honda Powerhouse here in Toronto
the way the bike is now is the way i bought it new from the dealer

It is a beauty. I'm going to miss my 06 on the street. Here is a video clip I made of the protons. They are well worth the money. Nice to see you came to your senses and went with a Honda.

those protons look great! where did you purchase them?
yeah my new 1000 is nothing like the gsxr lol
the gsxr was a nice lil nimble bike but that was about it
the 1000 on the other hand is a monster and now that i got confortable on it it takes corners amazingly

I'll send you a PM on where to get them.
I like the suzukis also. My wife want a new 09 GSX-R 600 because it fits her height the best.
That bike will give you great confidence in cornering. Just make sure the tires are up to temp.

Hey TODJ2002,
Go open a photobucket account and upload your pictures there. Then just cut the IMG tag and past it in your message. That's how all of mine are posted.
Good luck!

sigh....
I ride but no tricks. I like the "sport" of riding, so I like the turns and the leans, but I don't think I'll EVER be good enough to try a wheelie with no gear, lol. BUT, that being said, I haven't really ridden for a year since I moved to this nice flat, and safe state of Florida, lol. No turns, nn hills and LOTS of cops.
TM, nice color scheme there! I like black and yellow. Course, I like the black and red too, lol.

awsome colour combo on the rr tang!
you should def powdercoat those rims yellow lol
i didnt like the look of those rr's when they 1st came but the more i see them the more i like them.... the one thing that puts me off on looks is the skinny tail i have a big ass and it will look bigger on that skinny tail lol
but i never rode one yet so i cant say anyhting about the bike...
