Anybody into baseball yet?

I realize that with NBA and NHL playoffs starting, that the early baseball season may not be on the radar quite yet. But if you do like baseball, feel free to chime in here.
My Tigers have had a decent start. They are a game over .500 and just finished a 4-1 homestand. They are in one of the worst divisions in baseball so that is a good thing. Not bad considering they have trouble with starting pitching and major problems in the bullpen.

What's going on with your team?

I just had my first and only brush with baseball for the season. The company that my company gets it's office supplies from gave me a pair of tickets to the Yankees home opener at their new stadium tomorrow. Turned around and sold them for $400...

The NHL is still around?!?

The NBA playoffs don't really mean much without the Suns do they??

My Mariners are 6-2 and ICHIRO is coming back today I believe

Red Sox off to a bad start 2-6, tough schedule to start on the west coast. I have faith & they will get things turned around. Try to catch every game I can!

Nope. I just follow my team in the win/loss record. if they're doing terrible I stop following baseball altogether. The only team I'm really going to watch are the NY Yankees fall apart throughout the season. $400 million on 4 players is a waste.

Crimzy Crimzy Crimzy, I thought we were BFF's
You are supposed to know everything about me. I went to Central Washington University (via the U of Wash). My family is all in Seattle. I WAS a diehard Sonics, Seahawks, and Mariner fan, Sonics are bye bye, Seahawks are in the Cardinals division and I have transferred loyalty, in MLB I root for the M's in the AL, D-Backs in the NL, given the choice I would barely prefer a Mariner World Championship (not likely I know).....Given a choice of any team winning a championship, I would take UW Football (I was a Frosh there when they won the title in 92
)
Got it?
