anybody know what this is?

Hi, I noticed this on my live rock the other day... it looks like a big top tent... it's has stripes down the side and well check out the pic... also i noticed what looks like a round disk like "thing" with a swirl of brown in it... didn't pay too much attention to it until i noticed it was now on the other side of the tank which made me think hey... that thing is alive... anyways here's my pic... ( i hope i can figure out how to put it on anyways....)

Looks like a limpet. If you do a search on that, you should find lots of info. Some ppl say they eat corals, but the ones in our tank just like to cruise on the glass and eat whatever is there. They do travel on the rocks, too, but we haven't noticed anything valuable gone missing. Hope this helps.

its a Chiton. They do not eat corals only algea. They multiply very fast and are a great addition to any reef. They are hitch hikers.
