Anybody need Live Sand?

sorry if im late but i just saw this post today and was out of town. Do you think i could still get some sand?
i have a freshwater tank and im going to get saltwater fish might not be able to get all the stuff for a while
need about 20lbs of LS
can i put the sand in a tub with saltwater and some power heads for a week or two?
