anybody sail?

Used to sail on a keel cruiser that my buddy owned, no classroom training. We were just taught by the boats former owner.I want to start back up, eventually buy something small, I'll be on my own this time, don't have any connections in Florida.
Looking for any advice as to where to head for info, training (if I have too$$), even a message board (could send link to Deskinj@yahoo.com)

I would love to learn to sail!! I am thinking of buying a BIG boat once retirement gets close. Sailing would be great, almost 0 cost for fuel to travel around!!

I sail small boats in the summer, sunfishes, not much bigger than 14 feet.

I ues to sail out of montrose harbor in chicago. Before that we were in the chicago river by montgomery wards, they had2 open 11 bridges for us & then the locks by navy peir.

Clean and quiet too. When I sailed out of L.A., we even had an occasional dolphin visit our wake too. Its awsome.

Have you ever sailed a hobie cat? My dad did in South Africa (a 16 ft) and I he want to buy one to take my brother and I.....Sounds like loooootsss of fun
