anybody use ALGAEFIX?

well, i have to wait for some money to come in, but i know what i have to do. new bulbs, more rock, get the skimmer back up, more frequent water changes and just keep on pullin the algae out by hand. thanks for everybodys help and info.
no chemicals for me!

To answer you original question first make sure you get the one for marine if you are in fact going to use it and I have been told it does nothing for an advanced stage of hair algae

I don't know that I would worry too much about adding more LR or at least put it on the end of your list of things to do. More LR will help with the overall nitrate reduction but may not solve your problem.
