most clowns and some damsels are immune to their sting, making it difficult for them to paralyze and grab clowns.

i've never heard of a perc in a condi i recommend the sebae for a condi at least i believe that will have a better chance going into the condi than the perc will

unless the clown is sick and isn't to strong. Had a condy eat a small perc. Didn't actually see it eat it. Looked throughout the tank one day and no dead body. I knew he was on his last fin. The next morning the remains in a cacoon like wrap spit out of the condy's mouth.
Have a healthy maroon that took right to the same condy only two days after entering the tank. The last post was right on. The coat over the maroon prevents it from sticking and stinging....

Condy don't usually host..and they move around alot knocking stuff over or find their way into an outflow pipe. Try a sebae or bubble tip. I've had wonderful luck w/ my bubble tip and my roomate had great luck w/ a sebae. I feed my bubble raw shrimp pieces soaked in kent zoe maybe once every 2 weeks. He rarely ever refuses whole foods. I've had him for two years and my "true" perc sleeps sometimes w nothing but his tail sticking out. I've had the perc for about 6 months. It took maybe one month for him to really notice the bubble-tip. I would estimate he spends 75% of his time in or about 6 inches from the bubble-tip.
My roomates sebae rarely takes chunks of shrimp, but I never see his clown anywhere but in that anemone. No other fish gets close to it without that clown really threatening a lashing. I've read somewhere that you should avoid pure white sebaes, and go with more of a yellowish brown tint. He's had the sebae for probably 10 months or so. The clown took to it very quickly.
Well I've been discouraged by people on this forum who haven't been sucessful w/ anemones but thats my two cents worth.
