Anyoing Algae

What kind of algae is this? I clean my sand off everyday and I just changed the water.

Sorry..... but I don't see anything. Are they bubble like?

Its all the brown stuff, my sand is black and white.

Sand Sifting goby? Conch?

How long has your tank been up? Looks like diatom algae which is normal for a younger tank. Use RO water for changes and top-offs, cut back on light time, don't overfeed, have good water flow throughout the tank. It should clear up.

They weird thing is, is that at night it goes away-nassissarus snails but comes back by day. I use deionezed water. Tank is 5 months old.

Check that substrate to see if this "algae" is forming a hard crust. It almost looks like your substrate may be hardening but I can't tell with just a pic. Just want to eliminate that possibility, so check it.

It sort od makes mats if I try to lift it a small mat of it comes with but easily falls apart.
