That's cool. Glad I didn't rub you wrong. I've been curious and searched around for this and can't find anything on it but I'm definitely going to ask. There may be a recording in the computer that stores the top speed the car has been but I don't see anyway they could void your warranty for a car that is marketed for speed. I know aftermarket parts can't void your warranty even though some would have you believe that. There is a Magnusun-Moss Act that prevents that. They can only choose not to warranty a repair if a modification caused the damage. Even though it sounds easy for them to say that, they have to be very careful. Most of the times it is just the aftermarket part that is no longer warranteed which is common sense. My buddy has a Z-06 with a Roots Blower on it and they still covered his warranty repairs.
