Heading over to some friends in a few hours... I have an 11lb pork shoulder that I smoked overnight, pulled and which is now marinating away in one of my home made BBQ sauces. My buddy whose house we're going to is doing racks of baby back and spare ribs as well as bbq rotisserie chickens. Pretty sure another friend is bringing over a smoked brisket.
Bring on the Cue!!!

Got some local grown buffalo burgers for tonight. We are going to go out this afternoon and pick-up all branches that are down around our place from a windstorm and have a big bonfire fire in the pit and when it burns down we will cook them over the coals.

we grill all the time, especially spring summer. But really all year 'round. Brush the snow off, ice, whatever. The only thing that gets us sometimes is the wind. Slows things down a tad.
I love pulled pork but prefer slaw in the side.

I grill all year round, whether I have to shovel snow to get to my grill or not but real BBQ is mostly a warm weather thing for me! Too hard to keep the temp right if its too cold out.

wow the pics are making me Hungry and it's nearly 2 am. I love to grill Ribs and I don't like a propane grill I have always used charcoal My son needs to get out of the house so we're taking him to the local park so he can play on the playground while I cook up some dogs and burgers on our little travel grill.

funny thing is.growing up in the north i always though a bbq was hot dogs, burgers and steaks.now living in texas.you hardly see a propane grill and a bbq requires a pile of mesquite wood and a smoker with at least 15-20 lbs of some kind of meat.not dogs or burgers.almost everyone uses charcoal .but still nice to cook some good burgers and bbq chicken everyonce and a while.

Most people around here call any cooking on a grill BBQ. Steaks burgers and dogs are defintely grilling though. BBQ is wood or charcoal cooked, for HOURS and HOURS!

I'm doing a bacon wrapped pork loin on my Big Green Egg in a couple hours for supper. Nothing too fancy but then I work until 1pm today so it's the best I can do with the time I have

I am late. Dang it.
I did a pork shoulder yesterday. I smoked it for 11 1/2 hours over hickory. I also went all out with homemade BBQ sauce and home made slaw.
The wife did white beans and deep fried corn bread to go with it.

When oil is nearly hot enough to fry in add boiling water to meal along with baking powder.
Wet your left hand with cool water.
Scoop up a heaping tablespoon of hot meal mixture; using wet hand form the top into a smooth oval.
