Anyone Else Acclimate like this?

I was searching and for different acclimation methods, but never came upon the one I use... I was just curious if anyone else acclimates critters in the same manner I do.
My Process.
1. Grab 2 qt. Ziplock disposable container from fish stuff cabinet
2. Rinse Container with RO/DI water. Dry with paper towel
3. Cut open baggie from LFS and Transfer contents into Ziplock container
4. Turn off Refugium / Sump light, Float Ziplock container in Refugium / sump
5. Drop weighted end of airline tubing into Display tank, connect airline tubing to Ziplock container Via plastic airline valve that is glued to rim
6. Open Valve and start siphon, adjust speed of Drip line
7. Let critter Drip acclimate for appropriate time.
8. Move critter from Ziplock container to Display.
I used the bottom bar of a plastic hangar glued on opposite sides of the container under the lip to keep it upright as it fills.
I feel this addresses both aspects of the Acclimation process pretty well; Both slow temperature adjustment from LFS to Home Tank , and slow adjustment in water chemistry from LFS to Home Tank.
So Does anyone else use a similar method?

i dont. seeing as how i dont have a sump. but it sounds like a smart idea and would be the way i would do it if i had a sump. but i place the fish bag in my display for temp, and because it is above the water line therefore impossible to siphon so i use a plunger: used for injecting flavor in food (only used for fish) to transfer water from tank to fish baggie so like u said 2 birds with 1 stone. and iam sure if people saw the prosess they would think i was crazy.
