disagree completely... who calls someone by their middle name anyway? But you can do what you want... but we all know that this type of thing is done simply to play to the fears of Americans... IMO people who do this are idiots... why is it a crime to have a ethnic name... its essentially something you are born with... and you wonder why some people still believe race may be an unspoken factor... it is because when you have people that think along these lines... its not a stretch to think they may also use race as a factor.

I can't help but laugh.

Well, when you have 2 George Bush's that have been prez, how would you suppose we differentiate?
Also, Rylan, I disagree with the statement that people who invoke the fear of the people as idiots. I would say they are smart (not respectful, honorable, etc), but that their audience, the American people, are Idiots.

How many times has your side referred to George Washington Bush as "Dubbya"???? Doesn't one of your heroes, Oliver Stone, have a movie coming out called "W"???? You can dish it but not take it.
Pretty lousy point you got going there.

Not such a bad point. Remember the "lipstick on a pig" issue? The conservative commentators on this forum insisted that the crowd's reaction meant that the comment was directed at the lovely Sarah. Well, when "W" is introduced it doesn't provoke a response anything like that. However, when "Hussain Osama" is mentioned the crowd goes wild with enthusiastic racism and rabid, if misplaced. xenophobia.

No-that is not what said. I said that if you judge by crowd reaction, the way the crowd reacts to "Hussein Osama" when he is so addressed at Mc rallies clearly shows more than simple disagreement with his liberal policies. Example-the sheriff in Fla few days ago emphasized "Hussein" and the crowd went absolutely nuts-and not in agreement with Osama's policies. It was clearly meant as an appeal to the crowds xenophobia. When referring to Pres. Bush as "dubbya" or "W" the intent is to differentiate him from his father. The purpose, effect and reception are quite different.

The "lipstick on pig" issue would have not been such a big deal had we not seen this kind of behavior before from Senator Obama. Remember in the Primary when he mentioned Senator Clinton and proceeded to scratch his face with his middle finger? The crowd reacted, he smirked, then later denied it meant anything...
Of course, when "W" is mentioned he invokes a rabid response. Have you read the Huffingtonpost or Daily kos? Rylan talks about Conservative commentators on Fox News and the radio but fails to mention these vile hatemongers (and let's not forget Senator Obama went to the Kos convention. Can't remember but believe Biden was there as well..)
You mention promoting fear... What do you believe Senator Obama was doing when he kept talking about the surge being a failure?
Senator Obama has been in elected office for 10 years and doesn't have a single piece of distinctive Legislation under his belt...
He's not the devil, but, in Biden's own words, "He's not fit" to be President either.
