No not really...I've had mine for about 10 yrs now...noone I know uses one. (someday they will wise up!!)..Still have the same iMac DV......works great, never 1 problem, doesnt freeze or lock up. the only thing I have ever had to do was replace a logic board due to a lightning strike....and also upgraded to OSX Tiger......

I think the one I'm lookin at is only $2700, but you gotta understand, it would last as long as 5 PC's...

I have the $2700 17" Macbook pro, I got it like 6 months ago, love it ,, and i have been a macfan for over 25years and the apple 2plus, ha ha

I downloaded and listened to the podcast of Bill Gates and Steve Jobs teaming up for the upcoming macs...
Somewhere in the podcast they pointed out that PC parts were made all over, shipped to one location and put together. Thus creating incompatible parts. The macs are all one company, all one computer, every part compatible.
They asked Gates if Mac has set a new standard for computers...
He said, "To set a new standard, you can't be slightly better, or improved, you hafta recreate the product to the higher standard. Mac has accomplished that".
I was glad to hear HIM compliment the mac. He woulda lost all kinds of credibility in my eyes if he tried to act like this computer is anything less than it is.
Anyway, it was on the cover of the itunes page, number 1 downloaded podcast. You should listen to it. Very funny parts as well. Very interesting podcast, and it's free!
