Yeah its AT&T only for now. I think Apple has signed "short term" with AT&T but who knows if that is a year or 5, its all speculation... Apple has kept this very quiet even internally so "we" employees don't start yapping poor information I would imagine. No way to get around it for now as we will only be selling one model, two different storage sizes, that requires the traditional SIM card. To start I think its a 2 year contract as well....
