I personally use cycle in all my tanks that i have had... ive found that it speeds up the cycling process ALOT!! It usually makes my tanks go through the cycle in 1-2 weeks

i agree with trigga
i don't like any quick fixes, at all, they are jsut that, i don't believe that they are worth it, they just fix the results of a problem which needs attention, and don't fix them or supposedly speed up a cycle which wil happen by itself
and cycle is jsut another quick fix, which IMO does not always work, one lfs here likes it, the other 2 don't and may i add that the one that does like it, is the one i don't go to anymore(because i have found them to be less knowledgable than i thought, fro other reasons)how come you want to add it to your tank??, if it isn't done cycling, it should be very near to finishing, i htink that cycle in your tank would be a waste of money, especially now(at this late date, right now, it may help to reduce your ammonia and such, but you do not want to reduce it if it is cycling, you want it to follow through and finish completeely

IMO it's so hard to tell if this stuff is benifical or not.
Not sure how to be 100% positive what is taking place at a bacterial level.
Readings of your test kits are the only practical way I know to tell what's happing during a tank cycle.
Obviously some folks have good luck with it - other prefer not to use it.
