Anyone ever use those PSP download sites?

My daughter just bought a PSP, and I told her we could 'hack' it so she could watch converted DVD movies and games on it. But then I found a couple of sites that you sign up for a one-time fee, and you can download thousands of movies, games, and music. Even implies you don't have to do anything to your PSP to use them. Any PSP owners ever try one of these sites? Are they legit, or just a scam to get your money?

Scam. They charge you money for files you could get elsewhere for free. Also it is impossible to download games for the PSP without softmodding it.

Has anyone cracked the latest firmware? My daugter took hers to school to let the 'experts' look at it, and they told her they could softmod the new ones yet.

Nice your teaching your daughter to steal already.... just my .02 anyways.
Rent the movies or just get netflix and be safe.

My psp is modded. Just rent the games from a store or a friend and you should be able to download the file to your computer, and put them on your memory stick.
These sites probably are loaded with nasties, and if you are paying for illegal downloads, that wont look too good.

Thanks. I've been reading and it appears her PSP is the new model that can't be modded (PSP Slim 3000). Guess I have to give the 15 year old hackers a couple months to figure that out...
On another note -- What kind of paint gun do you have? I went and played the other day with a couple of friends, and had a blast. Those little balls do sting though when you get hit in the head...

Yea I got one of the 2000 versions. Give it a bit and theyll have some way to do it.
