Found this...
"I mix one teaspoon of baby food pureed sweet potatoes and one teaspoon of baby food peas into one cup of water. I usually add a drop of liquid vitamin supplement, and often for good measure, I'll add a small amount of some fatty acid enrichment mixture such as Super Selco. Then I put it all in a small resealable bottle like the kind used for soda or water and shake well."

a lot of work for the return. if you must use brine go with frozen. I am talking from experience
Yeah, I hatched a lot, and raised some years ago. I think the spirulina gut loaded frozen BS is pretty good stuff.

I was looking for a good food for my sun coral. I noticed on the tube videos that alot of them are feeding live brine. Figured if it wasn't too much work I would try and hatch some myself. By the sounds of it I'm gonna feed frozen foods.

It is next to impossible to get a usable yield in a hobbyist environment. It takes a lot of space and a lot of work. Now you can throw a few eggs in a container, forget about it, and there will be adults there in time. But not enough to make it worthwhile.
I've actually never heard of people feeding sun corals with live adult brine. I wonder why they would choose that route.
We are talking about adult brine, right? I assume where you said "grow out". Hatching Baby Brine is a totally different story.

I couldnt agree more. as well as mentioning even with gut loading and vitamin boosting adult brine they are less nutritious than just about any other food option. because you can add vitamins to the other foods too. bang for your buck adult brine are a complete waste of time, money effort, and result.

Yup, I use them for med and vitamin delivery on "difficult" patients.
Have you ever looked at an adult from the dealer under a microscope. These things are nasty dirty and pic up all kinds of bacteria, ciliates and yuck. When I buy them from the store, I rinse them profusely and put them in "isolation" for a few days. I feed them well during that time and change their water regularily until they get rid of all LFS nasties from their digestive tract.

mysis shrimp, and just about ANY marine based meaty food. you can buy a chunk of just about any type of fish (avoid fatty ones) at your super marked and throw it in a blender to render it into useable sized chunks. then just freeze and thaw as needed.check into some of the DIY sfish food threads on this site most of the recipies can be used to feed your sun coral. and everyone of them is better than brine shrimp.

this is kind of off topic, but arent Sea Monkeys just brine shrimp?
I remember those commercials, saturday morning cartoons, the seamonkeys commercial comes on showing them doing all kinds of stuff. how dissapointing it was when they never once actually sat down at a dinner table, or played sports in their little jug I had..... I tell you I was some mad when all they did was twitch around like miniature epileptics.
