anyone have a video ipod??

i'm thinking of getting a 60g ipod and wanted to know if they are worth it. can you put movies ***) on it? if so, how? do you download the dvd onto your computer and then to the ipod? :notsure: and when you try tp preview a video on itunes can you see the vidoe or just hear it? (i just hear it.)

The Video Ipods are for personal videos and music videos that you can purchase and music. I wouldn't recommend getting a 60g. Don't spend the money. Save it for fish! I have a 30g and it works great.

We have a program that allows us to decode our dvd's and load them on the ipod. If you are going to use it for dvd, then definitely go the 60 gb. If you want more info on the program, just let me know.

rberhow-thanks! that would be great if you could send me the info! my e-mail is rei579@verizon.net i thought about the 30g but i want to d/l two book series on it; and that would take up about 20g i think. one is 120 discs and the other is 80discs. who knows. i would love to save the $$$ for fish but we may be moving in the near future and i don't want to start a tank then have to tear it down. i do wish we'd hurry up and get to wherever we are going so i can start the tank. i hate waiting!
