I'm totally jealous of your little blue friend.
Aren't tunicates like....the most primitive form of vertibrates. I could be wrongly remembering something from Bio...

That thing is very sweet. The color and shape of it. congrats, it has made it this long. Maybe you should just keep writing it off, it seems like it does well under the pressure of staying alive.

I just read that it is very common for these to drop their heads while in the aquarium. After they lose them they cover themselves in a mucus but that is normal and not a sign of poor health.

i see alot expressing interest in this thing. i'll give you all an update-
it's about a 10th of the size that it was when i got it. it's lost it's heads about 10 times since i got it as well, and grew new ones. very weird creature. i wish i knew what it wanted, short of flying it back to it's original waters.

some local guy was breaking down his tank and i grabbed that along with a few other things. he told me he had it for a while, but i think he is a "fibber".
