I've read were most people on the boards do not like automatic feeders, but this one looks interesting to me. It has individual compartments for food, and runs on a 24 hour cycle. It looks like a possible good addition to me. With the individual compartments the risk of overfeeding appears gone unlike most automatic feeders, it will only dispense what's in each days compartment. Also if you want to feed every other day, it appears that you could just keep every other compartment empty. If the food clumps or doesn't dispense, it would be not different than not feeding them which most people on the boards seem to say they do while on vacation. I just wanted some feedback on experience, or what others think about the design of this feeder. I won't post any links but it can be found by googling the name.
