anyone have info on a hawaiian blue puffer?

Hello i was looking to buy a hawaiian blue puffer but don't know much about them...also in the tank is a Niger Trigger and a small volitan lion the tank is 55 gallons my questions are mainly about what they eat i usually feed the other fish live foods as well as some flake and some formula 2

anyone think it would be unsafe to put him in a tank with the lion?

Mine never messed with my lion, and the lion was added significantly later than the puffer. Don't forget to feed him, though, and make sure to occasionally feed with something to wear down its teeth.
Hardy fish apparently, survived a tank crash and lived in an Igloo cooler full of water for almost an entire day with no heater and a fresh batch of saltwater dumped into it (no emergency/quarantine tank at the time). Managed to kill a yellowtail Damsel (a blessing I suppose) but didn't kill the Toby.

i had one, was my fav fish, great personality, like a lil dog
