Anyone have their fuge in basement?

I would like to drill a hole through the floor under the stand into the basement storage room and keep all the workings down there on shelves. That way there would be no kneeling(bad knees and back) every time I need to do work on the fuge, skimmer etc. Anyone have this setup? would it work you think? What kind of pump would be needed to pump water back up to a 92 corner or 125 regular tank? Obviously, more plumbing would be involved, but it sure would be nice if it could be done. Thanks!

oh, and this would be the same room that I could keep fresh waterchange water ready to go while it readies and heats.

You should post this same question in the Equipment forum.
I am sure you will get the answers you are looking for.
I am sure it has been done before. I would guess that the biggest concern would be getting a pump big enough to handle the head pressure. Gravity is a real pain in the

sometimes.
