I found this stuff sitting on the bottom of the bottom of my main tank. I'd take a picture but it is totally clear. It is lumpy and has the texture of jello. It is about the size of a gum ball.

i had that stuff to, but it was spread all over a piece of live rock, i stuck my net in by my coral banded shrimp and he clamped his claw onto the net, and i just lifted him onto the rock, and he ate it all

thats not what i had... i had a clear film like bubbles that were the size of quarters and was over my liverock. but like i said, my cbs ate in in a cuple minutes

It could be the slime sleeping bag from the lunar wrasse. Some wrasses wrap themselves when they sleep to hide their scent from night time predators.

I new I should have gone to bed earlier than try to answer this last night. I completly missed the wrasse. My Sixline on occasion will give out the slime and if the water movement gets it it somtimes goes into a ball but it is not all that round. But the slime is not totally clear. So in actuality I don't if this helps you at all. Sorry.
