im lookin for some chaeto for my upcoming fuge... Live in the cold state of MICHIGAN!!!
would need to be somewhat local for me to pick up.. All of the lfs around here do not carry it, or is full of aiptasia...Please be kind and share in this very expensive hobby..

im startin to get problems with algae and lookin for some chaeto to help clear it up

just came back from there unleashed, and got myself a nice hunk of chaeto.. no critters at all in it. i checked and washed it with my tank water b4 adding it to my sump(temporary until fuge is piped in later this week).
maybe once i get it growin good enough, ill cut a chunk off for ya 4x.. unless u need it faster then that, lol..
tropicorium has WAY TOO MANY corals! lol
i got lost in there lookin around for at least an hour and a half.
how is their reputation unleased?? good place to buy from?

I have been dealing with fish drs for the last 4 yrs but heard alot obout the other place all good reveiws.i have to say i was very impressed with the looks of their stock and shocked at the size of it also.as fo the cheato i use it as food .so ill be picking ome up soon also.impressing me is not an easy task when it comes to LFS's.i walked into another the other day just to see what they had as far as inverts the place was spotless tanks free of algae you would think the fish would look as good .they didnt half the fish showing signs of HLLE other floating belly up or on the verge of dying. that was called the fish tank.ill never go back.to me i dont care how fancy the store looks if the fish and other stock isnt healthy looking they are not getting my money.

Unleashed, where at near AA are you. I grew up in Chelsea. Tropicorium is a great place. Place is just amazing as far as seclection and quantity goes. I have had good luck with the fish from there.
I still do most my salt water stuff at Moby

, just cause they are so much closer to where I am now (Bloomfield) but my fresh water comes from Highland Tropics way out in Highland on M-59. Its a great store, I wish they would do salt, but I guess its why they are able to keep me stocked with any and every cichlid I could want.

im in belleville kinda in a triangle of the 3 stores the only thing we have in this town as for any fish is meijers ack wallmarts ack ack and petland lol great options huh

Ahhh Bellville. I lived there for a while. Belle-Villa condos dcwn through town and across from the cork and bottle or keg and bottle, what ever that place was called. Been a while since I been there 93-95.
I found a great store in Toledo that I like. Trilbey Tropics. They have a site. You really cant beat tropicorium though. such a wild place. Just so much to see and choose from, prices arent to shabby for most part. They high on base rock, I pay like $1.55 or so up here for my cichlid rock and they are like $2.39. I also get my live rock from Moby

and they are only $5.50. My last 30 or so pounds came from them and was from a customers tank. Was some of the best rock I have ever gotten.
Us locals should get together some time and show off tanks. I have 5 but only 1 is salt. Mainly cichlids here.

i got lr from moby's for $5/lb.... but i had got 56lbs from em, so they cut me a small break..
well, at least meijers is good for RO water... haha.. and they have it 24/7! I stopped in a petland around here and they have a 2' x 2' square of salt water stuff... pathetic! Tropicorium had some beautiful clams but I dont understand why the stores dont take care of aiptasia problems.. they have a really big one at tropicorium! Biggest specimen of aiptasia i have ever seen.... wonder why they dont rid the tanks of em, but its prolly an endless battle when u run a store, lol.

Im in south haven, and i have a some cheato for those that haven't found it yet. LOL, sounds like im a million miles away from anyone though.....just FYI, you guys all picked the wrong side of the state to live on ;).

i think u got that backwards jurichar.. lol.. come out to tropicorium and then say that! LOL i believe they also have a website.. add a dot com to their name..

only one thing i didnt like about the store and that was no garentee on stock and no returns.fish dr still getting most of my money lol

At least you have stores of any kind - not much here in the sticks.

hey Dragon, i feel your pain. I grew up in harrison (houghton lake/mt. pleasant area).....believe me, i know sticks. Where are you at?
