Anyone know how to cure ich in a FW tank with shrimp???

Fresh water, hmmmmmmm, Last time my Oscars had ich was due to TEMP drop, Heater went out and I didnt notice it for about 5 days. I got ICK away, and Turned the heat up higher than Normal. Dont know if this would work with Shrimp, but I also use this with alot of my SW probs to minus the ICK AWAY.

heat up is a good idea, but it's not doing the trick. The shrimp dont have the ick, but I can't use ick medicine withthe shrimp in the tank. most are copper based and that will kill them.

I've used Melafix and it works great! My cbs don't seem to be bothered by it esp. since there is no copper in it.
I even put it in once a week - it is as usiing garlic soaked food for the fish. Hope this helps.
