I beleive the sea dragon is very similar to a sea horse as far as care goes but they are a
restricted species, so they are very tough to get (maybe illegal). The cuttle fish is a relative of the octopuss. Check out TONMO.com for info on cuttlefish.

Check out (seahorse..org) I think they might have some info on seadragons. I have learned a tremendous amount about my seahorses on that site.

Cuttlefish are not that difficult in a species tank. Make sure you get a Tropical Species and not a temperate species.
Seadragons are not available. They are a threatened species.

Yeah, what Bang Guy said is important...a SPECIES tank. That is just set up for those types of animals. Unfortunately some are sold just as cool things to add to a tank with everything else under the sun already in it.
Though interesting, I imagine most people would grow somewhat bored over time with cuttlefish.

yes you can purchase a cuddlefish but a seadragon is an endangered species and is protected by law so no you cannot own one for any given reason.unless you are a marine aquarium liscenced like shedds seaworld or a zoo

Ripley's Aquarium in Gatlinburg, TN has a sea dragon and a cuttlefish. Very schweet, the cuttle fish is continually changing colors ans very irridescent.

A guy who owns a fishstore around me said he used to have a mated pair of seadragons. I looked into them. I dodn't think they are illegal but they are very expensive.

1) Seadragon- Impossible to legally own in the US. Even if you lived in a different country, and could pass through the proper CITES requirements, do the pounds of paperwork, actually find a reputable seller...yatta yatta yatta...then you would need a large cold tank, and most of the keepers of seadragons agree that it should be round.
2)Cuttlefish- Yes, you can keep these, but the most common species found in the US (S. officinallis) gets large, and need cold water. But if you look around enough, then you can find S. bandensis, a much smaller species, that does not need the really cold water. But be foreworned, they do not live long.
