What are the two bubble like things in the center of the photo? They are kind of transparent... they look and feel like plastic, but they keep growing. Any ideas?

its bubble or grape algea.to be exact its ventricaria ventricosa
u can remove it by hand gently rocking it back and forth just dont pop it

I've also heard that emerald crabs will help with that stuff.

If its bubble algea the crabs COULD help.
They will eat the bubble algea but it is not their favorite algea to eat. So if theres other algea in the tank for them to eat, it might eat that instead.
