Anyone/LFS around Southeast region 150-300 gallon tank pricing search!

Folks,
Few previous threads I have asked and repeating ask..... I know you have the answer because some of you have 200+ gallon tank as you stated. So why bother being such so secretive?
I am in search for a BRAND NEW:
Length X Width X Height
250? Gallon 8' X 2' X 2' $________?
150-180 gal 6' X 2' X 2'+ $________?
Where can I find your store or your recommendation store that carries those! I lives in South/East Tennessee and 125 gallon is the only 6 foot long they carries! Also they carries 150 gallon but size not acceptable to me as they are 4 foot long X 2 foot wide X 30 inches tall!
Please tell me where to find it. Otherwise I may be force to buy a 125 gallon with some of disappoints.
Thank you in advance.

Hopefully this will help you out. I was trying to get my company to buy a 300 gallon tank for the Lobby. So I could have them buy the fish maintain the tank and feed my hobby. Didn't work.
I went to a Bunch! of internet sites trying to find the cheapest, best Acrylic tank.
I am talking just Tank. You can make, buy the stand anywhere. They are not hard to make with a little research on the Net. I have found bunches of pictures and diagrams on stand and hood making.
Back to the Tank. "TENECOR" is the way to go. I am almost positive that you can go to Tenecor.com and get a phone number to call them. You can have the tank custom made for you. This is the company that supply's many of pet stores and internet sites. I can't remember how much the tanks were, but they were between 100 and 125 dollars cheaper than anywhere on the net and you can have it custom. Meaning design where you want your overflow, Rounded corners for and extra 50 bucks, Tinted back to the tank in the Plexiglass (Blue, Black, etc..). Didn't go much further because the shot down the idea when the saw it would cost close to 250 for the monthly maintenance. Go to ThePETStop.com and look at their aquariums. The have prices for the Tenecor aquariums. Go directly to the company and get it custom for cheaper.
Good luck.

MajesticAngelfish,
Are you willing to do some driving? Like to the Pittsburgh, PA area? I know that Elmers in Monroeville has carried the larger tanks, and I am sure they will order you one, but you may have to put down some money. I am not sure if they will drop ship though. If interested, I can get you their phone #.

I live in Greenville, SC. There is one store in mind that has loads of Tanks large and small. The store is called The Fish Store and is located in an area of Atlanta called Buckhead. They also have a web address www.thefishstore.com. I went into the store once and was absolutely impressed. Hope that helps.

Wildbunch,
I checked this out as you refered. Very Interesting...... I take this under consideration just in the case if glass cost similiar as acrylic then I might opt to go for acrylic. By the way Thanks.
Kelly,
Let me try the store in Atlanta and if I feel their pricing is too high I will email to you and see how much your store asking. By the way Thanks!

I live in georgie and the LFstore I go to has 200gl in stock he order for some one and they back out on the deal. I would like to have it my self . The store in Buckhead is real high $. I shop their once in awhile for hard to fined stuff. But they are real proud of the stuff they sell and will treat you like you are beneath them .

The good thing about Acrylic is if you scratch it, you can buff it out with an inexpensive kit you can buy.
I unfortunately have scratched my glass tank, and am stuck with the damage.
Plus Acrylic won't have a silicon seal that can fail 10 yrs. down the road. Happened to a friend of mine with a 30 gallon. Pretty big mess.
Last, Glass weighs a whole bunch.
Enjoy,
Mike
