Anyone purchase the new first person shooter game Rage

No, why is so bad? I saw some gameplay trailers which looked good. Its ID so can't be that bad.
Beth the game looked great with all the hype it received. I preordered it picked it up on the 4[sup]th[/sup]. It would not run after installation. On the phone with the teck from Bethesda. It seemed my video card needed updating ATI Radeon 3000 Graphics HD 5700 Series. After updating card the game would load but the picture tearing was unbelievable. Back on the phone with the teck was then told that ATI was aware of the situation and they had just released a updated enhancement just for rage. I downloaded that update and it improved the picture problem but not completely. It is extremely annoying. Trying to play with the picture tearing. Checked on line it see it others were having the same issues. It seems the gaming community is up in arms over this situation.

http://forums.steampowered.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2154053 A guy has made a custom v-sync in that will usually fix all screen tearing. Has other bug fixes etc. you may have problems with as well

thanks will check it out soon seems there are 80 pages as of yesterday at that site for issues with the game
