The 2006 model sells for $1,800. However, I am not sure about the height of this bike and all the above specifications mean nothing to me. I'm just looking for a quality used mountain bike.

You found yourself a quality, used mountain bike. Unless the previous owner beat the hell outta it.
Been a while since I been on one of them. I used to do a lot of mountain biking back when I used to live in Arizona. If I had the money, I'd buy it.

Thanks. He described to be in great condition. He's part of a racing team and the person that told me about him says he will do me right. I think it's going to come down to the feel of the bike. It's listed as a medium (17.5") and I am not sure if I am too tall for it.

I think it's a fair deal. $300 would be a good deal if in good shape.
