anyone tried this product..if so, how did it go for you...
Without a doubt, the easiest product on the market for dosing calcium and trace elements.
A great product for beginning and advanced reef keepers.
Simply drop in several cubes and wait for them to dissolve. Once dissolved drop in the next batch.
Impossible to overdose- the nuggets dissolve only to replace depleted elements.
As elements are depleted from the aquarium, Formula 28 delivers exactly equivalent amounts to replace them.
Sea Lab 28 is a mixture of naturally occurring buffer compounds that maintains natural concentrations of calcium, strontium, and 15 other essential trace elements.

hmmm. what "levels" does it maintain? do you have any water test results? like what was your strontium before/after? clacium? alk? or are you running on the assumption that its working right because its dissolving? (not being a schmuck just asking questions)

i havn't used it..thats just the description of the product i copied and pasted from another website. they also sell these at my lfs...i was thinking if it constantly adds chemicals to the tank, wouldn't the protein skimmer not work normally....i have a new tank so i have no reason to dose yet....just wondering if anyone has had any success with this product for future references.

No, I dont have the numbers. I dont record the numbers or anything. I test it and if it is good then I am good to go.
I have everything in my tank, lps, sps, clams, shrooms, zoas, crabs, snails,fish......you name it.

you can try it out to see how much of whatever the tabs add, but IMO it's a bad idea to be throwing something in there and not knowing how much its adding.
especially if your tank isn't even consuming anything
