Dynamic, fully submersible water pumps revitalize hard-to-access "dead spots" in your aquarium. Magnetic base with articulating ball joint allows a full, 360 degree range of convenient pump positions. Directs vital water movement to areas of your aquarium never possible with conventional powerheads. Patented propeller design generates water flow that is both powerful and delicate - ideal for marine and reef aquariums. Extremely low energy consumption. Suction cup and magnet mounting system measures 2-3/4" diameter and is suitable for aquarium glass up to 1/2" thick. NEW Nano features 1-3/4" diameter suction cup and magnet mounting system, also suitable for up to 1/2" thick glass nano reef aquariums.
I have a smaller tank a 39gallon tank and was wondering if these worked very weel at all? they would IMO eleminate the bulky look of a powerhead in the tank as my tank I have 4 though there relativly hidden I would like to make them even more less visable.

I have 2 #3's which have a 850gph flow rate on a 120 gal tank..(have 4 powerheads total). They move a lot of water and can be angled very easily...They also have a magnet for the outside which prevents them from slipping down your glass and blowing sand all over the place while you sleep
I really like them and wish I had bought them a lot earlier then I did. You might be hard pressed to find a better powerhead for the price. Unless money is no object....

I love my #1 in my 29g the only downside was for the first month or two it seemed to make a loud rattly sound but it you shut it off and on it would fix it for a while. Doesn't make any sound now though, it must of just been like a break in period. They do put out quiet a bit of flow. Not a direct stream of flow though. If you put your hand in front of it you can hardly feel it compared to another comparable pump. They are more of a spread out flow. Can also be completely taken apart for cleaning. There are only a few parts to these things so they are easy to clean.
I would highly recommend either 1 or 2 #1's for that tank depending on how much flow you would like. I will be putting 2 #3's in my 75g when I get it up.

lol....#8's....thats funny man that would be one heck of a powerhead over 2400 gph but i guess in a 265 that wouldnt hurt...they are great powerheads...i have 2x#4 in my 90 and they do a great job

I just added 2 number 2's to my 75 a few days ago. So far they are way better than the MaxiJet 1200s that they replaced
