Here's the problem, much like the infamous Wayner, although annoying, he really wasn't breaking any rules until I started asking him to stop and he refused. Unfortunately situations like this aren't as easy as the basic "lameball" trolls we've had in the past. In any case, he has been banned.

Reacting to trolls is the worst thing that members can do, which doesn't seem to matter much when you tell members not to react. They still go at it. LOL Is that the trolling activity adds a bit of spice for the moment, even negative spice? That is what I have come to think having modded here for 12 years.
After letting a mod know through PM, just completely ignore the situation. The troll has accomplished what they set out to do when they can engage the member, make them irritated, or waste their time by eliciting back and forth dialog. Goal achieved. But, no matter, members will continue to engage the troll....even after he is gone through subsequent topics such as this one.
Wonder why? I decided as stated above that members enjoy a good controversy. LOL What you think?

Very true. The point of the thread was kind of to point out what happens when the trolls get fed. I saw a couple of members getting fed up that the troll's threads were getting more attention than regular members' threads. I can understand the frustration.

YES, BUT this also happens when boards tend to be on the slow side.....boredom sets in, and even a "trollish" thread will get attention

YES, BUT this also happens when boards tend to be on the slow side.....boredom sets in, and even a "trollish" thread will get attention

Feeding trolls can be quite amusing. I think we should have some fun. I don't think a troll would notice their thread being moved to the new forum "Disinformation" with the description:
