all my tanks are in my room and it gets pretty hot in there and I have 2 fans that I can use to mount on my wall to blow across my sump one is not that powerful and the other one is more powerful set on the low setting, first question, will this even do anything to cool down the heat from the sump, and how do I tell what is too much air blowing around?
Thanks for any responses...

I have a fan in the cabinet that the sump is in...The room my tanks are in usually runs warm to begin with...adding the fan underneath by the sump helped keep things cooler.

It's a small box type fan....I keep it on high..I do not have it blowing directly on the water...it is on one side of the cabinet moving the air throughout the whole cabinet.

would you happen to have any pics on this site that show the fan? I'm just trying to get a better understanding on which one to use because both are different in size and power. thank you for the help

thank you, I apreciate the pic, one of the ones I have is that one just a little smaller, I mounted that on my wall for the sump, then I put the more powerful one above the tanks, so hopefully I get some more circulation.
thanks meowzer!
