I guess not, now that i think about it. But I think the fact that i use a mac serves as a daily reminder that we don't agree on certain things.... j/k
Thanks for helping me out in that religious thread a few weeks ago btw.

I was talking to this guy a few weeks ago. He put some junk from his garage up on craigslist. He is a retired war vet, Vietnam I believe...
He is disabled and in a wheelchair. Some people came to his house and took advantage of him by stealing some of the awards he got from serving...
Be careful with craigslist.

I had the same problem... they sent me a confirmation email and everything but nothing was showing on there. I found out later what the problem was - You know that box at the bottom where you have to type the weird-shaped letters and numbers on a picture? Well if you get that wrong, it will still send you a conf email and everything, but they won't publish it. You have to get that thing exactly right. I just shuffle through different ones until I find an easy one that I know I can do correctly. Try that, and make sure that you have it typed in correctly.
Also, delete all your previous ads and start fresh... they don't let you post similar ads.
THAT. IS. GENIOUS!!
Ill try it now I guess but I just put up another add and I hope it comes up in 15 min

It's a little joke. Genius does not have an "O" in it. I said, it had and I in it. This was supposed to imply that I am a genius. Then I said it also had a U. That was supposed to be a compliment. Anyway...

It's best to meet in a public place. Here in California, we generally meet at a starbucks because there are so many around here. Also, ALWAYS meet at reasonable hours. If someone wants to meet you at 11pm, even if you're usually up that late, it's not a good idea. I'm 6'7" and 300 lb's - I could easily mess someone up if they pulled something on me, but even still I don't meet that late.
More importantly, use good judgment. If you get the feeling that the potential buyer is a little sketch, don't hesitate to ignore them.

Hey just for some perspective, I parted out everything from a 180 gallon tank on craigslist. Plus instead of a garage sale I posted everything on craigslist. And most people on there are normal people, but you just gotta use your judgement. I always talk to them over the phone first. And really there was only 2 guy out of the 15 or 20 that I met that I didn't meet at the house. And only one guy that I am glad I didn't meet at the house.
