Anyone Use Magnavore??

Has anyone used Magnavore algae cleaning magnets?
They are very pricey, and I'm wondering if they are worth the big bucks.
TIA

Never even heard of that brand Hermit.
I've been using the "Twister" and love it.
Let us know if you decide to try one.
By the way .... how much is pricey ?

$39 for the smallest one!
They have larger ones than work on tanks 1000 gallons and above!
Go to their web site and check 'em out. I first saw them advertised in FAMA magazine.

I have one for my two hundred gallons. Yes, they are costly but they work great! I will do it all over again.
Hint! price them out...you may get a deal and then call the direct. he may match it or beat it! good luck

I considered the Magnivore but ended up getting a Tunze magnet instead. The Tunze was a little cheaper. It works great on both of my larger aquariums. People who use the Magnivore's swear by them.

I am investigating purchasing one myself.
This info is great.
One question that I would like to know - because its a pain in my arse...
how good are any of these magnets against corraline algae?
Right now - I scrap for at least 45 minutes with a sore back :( to remove it, and I usually dont get it all!
