Anyone used Paraguard?

Hi all,
First post...love the site. Just wondering if anyone has used paraguard in a reef tank to control Ich? What success have you had with this product and what (if any) side effects were there? Does it kill the parasite or just help drop them off the fish?

I insert an intrauterine device (IUD) by that name for women who desire birth control but I don't think that it would fix any marine disease (even though it does have copper in it). lol
Seachem's Paraguard is a product which is supposed to kill everything infectious (bacteria, fungi, viruses, and parasites). I think that such claims are far-fetched. However, I have no experience with the product. I am not usually a believer regarding usage of Malachite Green in a marine tank. I have no idea what the protective fish polymers are supposed to do. :notsure:

Just after a few opinions before i spend the money..or is there a better product on the market??
