Anyone using mud?

I have been hearing more and more about mud lately. Yes mud! Anyone using it? Pros, cons? How do you set it up?

I have miracle mud in my refugium on my 29 gallon tank. no skimmer, just mud and culurpa. seems to do a great job, and my tank looks great!

I use MM in all three of my eco-systems. No skimmer, no nitrates, no phosphates, no hassles.

Thanks for the reply...What sold you on it? How do you contain the mud? (keep it out of pumps)
I saw a goofy ad for some Marc Weiss mud. I would hate to pay for mud! Is there a way to have DIY mud?

I don't think there is anyway of a do it yourself mud unless your a scientist of some sort! just buy it! you'll be happy you did!! oh yeah! the thing that sold me on it was because it was an interesting idea!! i read about that kind of system for years, and just decided to give it a whirl!! i'm glad i did.
