This thread will be closed. We've tried it before...it doesn't work. Although the click here thread lasted quite a while...

Posiden...you still working a lot of overtime?

Every week. Man I am so glad to have a job but, with all that is going on I just can't keep ahead of things it would seem. Right now as much as I hate to say no to the boss I have been saying no to saturday's.
Makes me wonder if I am putting myself in line for then next let go.

I'm doing math homework...
The Pentagon, in Arlington, Virginia, is one of the world's largest office buildings. It is a regular pentagon, and the length of each of its sides is 921 feet. Fine the area of this pentagon to the nearest thousand feet.
A=1/2ap
p=921X5 which is 4605
a: tan36=460.5 (half of 921) over a
a=460.5/tan36
a=633.8238744
A=1/2X633.8238744X4605
A=1459379.471
A=1459,000 square feet...
I think I did that wrong...but oh well.

pez,
I didn't really follow your math there, but I think you need to do some angles in there. What is the angle of the corners of a pentagon?
