these things are killing me. I have taken so many of them out of my tank, I don't know how to get rid of them. Is there anything out that there that will eat these guys.

I've heard of Sixline Wrasses eating small nudis. I don't know about your tank specs so idk if it's safe to add one to your system, though. Do you know what kid of nudi this is? FW dipping LR in a Lugol solution is a way to kill them.

I have a sixline wrasse already. apparently he's not doing his job. I've heard of FW dipping, but they are scattered around my whole tank. I really don't think dipping all 72 gallons is possible

Unless anyone else has better suggestions, then I guess your best bet is to be patient with a turkey baster >_<

twogirls,I posted the technique on getting rid of the nudibranches. There are no quick fixes.I've research and research, there doesn't seem to be any predators that feed on them.Remove the zoos and freshwater dip them, put them back in the DT or QT.If you put them in the DT as bait then you need to do a freshwater dip every few days.If you put the zoos in QT,the remaining nudibranches die pretty quickly, around a week without there source of food.
ps...If you freshwater dip in a separate container(1gal.)then you have to set the temp and PH to your display tank.I'm sorry this is what you have to do to save your zoos.

the main problem that I'm having about the fresh water dipping is that I have 11 large zoo colonies and 14 small fragged ones. that's a lot of dipping. should I just dip the one that they seem to be on the most and see what happens?

Some sixlines eat them. If yours is not, I would go buy three or four more and hope for the best. My buddy had 75% of his zoanthids wiped out by nudibranches and he added a sixline and it eventually eradicated them. It ate all of the adults and then ate all of the juveniles as soon as they hatched before they were old enough to reproduce. Also, if you feed often your sixline may not feel the need to hunt for its own food.

Good luck!

how often do you suggest feeding then? As far as fish I have a sixline wrasse and a diamond goby. Then I have emerald crabs, turbo snail, astrea snails, 1 peppermint shrimp (my goby ate the other one) and 2 urchins.

I would make the portion of food a very small amount (only that which can be totally consumed, 100% of what you put in, in less than 60 seconds) and only feed twice a week to see if the sixline will start eating the nudis. It will not hurt your fish. Watch the tank closely and if you see that the sixline does not start to eat them after two weeks, resume to normal feeding.

what about the goby though? he already ate one of my peppermint shrimp last Thursday. Apparently the tank isn't dirty enough for him.

When you do feed, use a turkey baster to spot feed the goby to make sure he does get some food.
If/when the sixline starts to eat the nudibranches you can slowly increase the frequency you feed. Never feed a portion that is not 100% consumed within a minute; anything that is leftover is going to pollute your water.

Those nudis roam from colony to colony,I don't think dipping just one will do much. The way you described your problem sounds like they probably laid eggs already.I would dip them all and pull any egg sacks you see out with tweezers. Then put all of them in QT.
or.........
Buy a Sixline Wrasse, maybe, just maybe, you will find that one Sixline out of a hundred that might eat the nudis.
The choice is yours
Best of Luck

If you dont start dipping soon, you will have fewer zoa to dip. It comes with the territory of owning a tank. It took me days to dip and tweezer my zoa to get rid of Spiders!!
