No, Joes Juice and Aptasia X come with a syringe, just go to it nice and easy so it is full open and squirt it right in it's face.....it will close around it and eat it up and melt right then and there. If you missed it's little face it might reopen.....just do it again after it does. It won't do any good to put it on it if it is closed up.
Just leave it alone to die and disappear, no need to even bother with the white glob of death left behind, the water flow will take it away in a few hours.

I never turn off the pumps....LOL...how much "extra" do you squirt? Anything not on the face disc is wasted. You can't do it outside the water the aptasia zips up inside the rock and hides.
