Aptasia invasion!

I have got a big little problem. APTASIA!!! will pepermint shrimp really help? Cause there are way too many to try and take out of my tank on the live rock . Help appreciated thx

IME peppermint shrimp will work only on the smaller Aiptasia and only if you get the correct ones. You want to ensure that you get Lysmata wurdmanni, the Caribbean peppermint shrimp not Lysmata californica. For the larger Aiptasia you will need to nuke them yourself.

+1 nuke the large ones and give the pepermint a week or so and he'll do the rest. Be weary of adding a pepermint to a tank with a territorial fish in it like the sixline, mine took a pepermint out within 2 hours.

joes juice, kalk... basically anything that employs calcium hydroxide which is really caustic..
