Does anyone know what aptasia look like? I know you have peppermint shrimp to get rid of them but what do they look like?

Hi,
Yes pep shrimps can get rid of the smaller ones, but keep in mind that pep shrimps eat polyps and once they eat the aptasia they "might" start eating other polyps. This is what happened to me, they took a liking to my zooanthids. I would try to manually kill them with kalk and boiling water injections.

I had a many of these little boogers. The thing is when you kill one another pops up..
I have heard some people talk about pep. shrimp knawing on corals and polyps but I have never seen this in my tank. I swear by these things. I had well over 100 aspatisia in my tank and then decided to let SWF send me some pep. shrimp. Within 3 weeks ALL and I mean ALL(that I can see) are gone. I have had 10 pep. shrimp in the tank since and have not seen any adverse affects. But, may be my luck! I will say this from my experience. They are the best way to rid your tank of the dreaded asptasisa.. IMO
