Anyone ever seen one with gray or white bands around them? I just bought this LR today and it has 2 anemones that are brown with white bands around them. If they are what i think they are then i can kill em pretty easily.

Hello:Aptasia!Iwould get rid of it,peppermint shrimp love them.

use the kalk method, sure fire way and it costs less than peppermint shrimp.
Mix a paste of kalkwasser and water, then suck it into a syringe. Shoot the mixture right infront of the aptasia, it will grab it thinking it is food, and Voila! It has just signed its own death certificate! Great method, wont let you down.

yeah i was just searching and found a pic of what i have exactly. I wanted some peppermint shrimps already so i am gonna get one or 2 tommorrow. The 2 I have are kinda big so im gonna use the kalk method to get rid of them and then the peppermint to keep em away

Sounds good to me. If you kill them all, then they shouldnt come back unless you have some un hatched or however those things spawn. But the pep's should help out as well.
