river sand? this may be your problem, not sure river sand is something you should put into your tank. There is no telling what is in or how poluted the sand is out of a river.

sorry, i just think you should know your parameters. I think you should start testing your own water.

i do test my owne water too.......and also is thier a controler that test all that for constantly
