aqua c remora: loud?

I just got the aqua c remora skimmer and i was wondering if anyone has any experience with it. Do you allways hear the spray system spraying the water onto that plate within the skimmer,because that is really loud.

I have had one for 3 weeks, and yes you do, but it does quiet down a little after a few days.

I added this mod and it works really well. Now all I need to do is replace my noisy fan on my lights, but that's another story altogether.

Google "AquaC paper towel mod" I have done this in the past and it works great.
