Aqua C Remora skimmers

I am upgrading my skimmer. Is the Aqua C Remora EV 120 hard to plumb? I have never plumbed anything Does all of the tanks exit water get plumbed into it?
Also, was looking at the Urchin. It is cheaper and looks easier to use. Any difference in performance?
I asked on somebody elses skimmer question, but didn't get a reply. It is getting bumped down so am asking again.

remora is HOB, just put a pump in the tank/sump and it works.
urchin is insump, just put a pump in the tank/sump and it works.
i have the urchin, and wish i had a better skimmer. i honestly only empty the cup once a week, where i've seen some skimmers have to be emptied once a day

EV and Remora are not the same. EV is sump plumbed and Remora is HOB

sorry my bad, not the remora, the aqua c ev120. It is a sump use too.

the EV is good!!

the ev series can just sit in the sump you may have to put on something if you keep your water to high for its specifications no major plumbing this way. it can also be put outside your sump but you would have to plumb it through the wall of the sump making it a little more complicated
