Hello all,
I have had a AquaC Remora on my 55 gallon for about a 1.5 months. I purchased the one with the Rio 800. I was reading that I could get more gunk out of my tank by adding a surface skimmer, but I am a little confused.
On one post someone said that you can go to ---- and get a surface skimmer made by Fluval that will connect to the skimmer. I looked into this and the one they were talking about looks like a pipe that kind of resembles a heater, and had one elbow sticking out of it for which I am assuming you would connect to the skimmer pump. This does not make sense to me because the pump only has 1 output and no inputs...
I also looked directly at the AquaC Remora site and they list a prefilter box that you can install but I am not sure they make one for the Rio 800...
Anyway, if anyone knows what this is about or can shed some light on the subject please reply. A diagram of how this works or some instructions would help greatly.
Thanks,
Adam
