Aqua C Urchin or Coralife SS

Which one of these skimmers has less noise (Urchin or SS)? Its going to be in sump.

People that own the Coralife SS....are they loud?
I own a CPR Bak Pak 2 and its way too loud for me (sucking air sound).

I have a ss 125 on the sump under my stand and can hardly hear it run. Noise has not been an issue with mine at all.

I had a aqua c urchin in my sump. It is a good skimmer a lil difficult to get the cup set in the right spot at first. Does a good job of skimming.
I am skimmerless now. But I would recommend it.

Rabid frog, was it loud? Why no skimmer now, do you still have a reef?

no its not loud at all. I dont have it running now because the ph that was running it broke down. The tank has been skimmerless for about 6 months now and didnt see any difference with or w/o skimmer. So I just never bothered to get a new pump.
