Aqua Clear Aquatics skimmer

I'm looking for info on a Aqua Clear aquatics skimmer. there out of Florida. All i can find is a Aqua-C ones this one is different, made of PVC.. looks like a bong I use to have in High School
It uses a Maxi-jet 1200 PH, just making sure i got it set right. would like a instruction manual
It came with a Tank i got 2ed hand.

I'm pretty sure they are now Pro Clear aquatics. I use their wet/dry and protein skimmer on my 46 gallon bowfront.

ya thats it thanks. how does yours work just had water tested and Nitrates were bad high. I did a change and put my redsea skimmer back on. Is there a trick to em?

I can only adjust the air valves supply to the pump. I keep it wide open all the time. I clean the cup out peridically. I've cleaned the skimmer occassionally. I'm told this doesn help keep the resistance down for bubbles to travel up the skimmer. I've had nitrates run around 20 and when I do a water change I can usually get them down to about 15. My corals seem to appreciate it alot.
I recently added some more live rock, but didn't make that much difference. I'm thinking of removing the bio-balls from the wet/dry and replacing it with live rock rubble. I'd probably have lower nitrates if I had a better skimmer, but there's just no room in my sump for it (about 4" diameter).

I have one that looks just like that and have a Maxi-Jet 1200 hooked up to it and it wont work without a proper Venturi. I have a Rio 800 Rejuvinated Venturi coming for mine and that is what is originally on the skimmer...... Search google for Pro Clear Aquatics and you will see what is standard on them....

Yes the kit will do it for ya......I decided to get the rio 800 one so that I could use the Maci 1200 for water movement

the maxi 1200 worked great. I put it the fuge on my new 75 it filled the bowl half way in 3 days!!! It is defently working.
Nasty looking green crap it is pulling out
